In the parallelogram \(ABCD\), \(AB\parallel DC\) and \(AD \parallel BC\). Prove that the opposite sides are equal.
\(\angle ABD = \angle CDB\) and \(\angle ADB = \angle CBD\) (alternate angles), \(BD\) is common, so \(\triangle ABD \equiv \triangle CDB\) (AAS). So \(AB = CD\) and \(AD = CB\).
